Unique experiences set Disney World theme parks apart. A new offering debuts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Return to Normal
As Disney World steams ahead with getting the parks back to 100%, many restaurants, amenities, and experiences are once again returning. We are also seeing some *new* offerings!
Each week it appears that more and more signs point to the return of “normal” in the Disney Parks. Last month, a HUGE milestone was met on our pathway to “normal” when Disney announced that non-distanced character meet and greets would return. This was one of the biggest “reopenings” that many Disney Guests looked forward to.
Recently we have also shared that Disney entertainment would return to pre-pandemic levels with a new Finding Nemo show, the return of the tumble monkeys at Festival of the Lion King, and the return of Fantasmic.
Tram service returns to Animal Kingdom next week as well, and now Disney’s Hollywood Studios welcomes something new to entertain Guests.
Caricature Cart
If you have ever been inside The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant, you have seen all of the celebrity caricatures on the walls of the restaurant. Head outside and down Sunset Boulevard, and you can now get your own caricature drawn!
The red car trolley has made its comeback to Hollywood Studios and Sunset Boulevard. The car is inspired by the old Pacific Railway of Los Angeles. It used to hold merchandise and other items to purchase before it disappeared in 2020.
However, NOW the cart is back, and you can get your caricature drawn at the red car trolley! The cart has examples of art, pricing options, and a spot for the Cast Member and Guest to sit and create the art.
You can find a list of caricature carts around Disney World by heading over to Character Locator. Not only will find those, but you can also see wait times, menus, and touring strategies!
