Nobody really likes to hear that their favorite attraction will be under refurbishment during their trip, but sometimes it happens and it is necessary. Attractions need to be maintained and refurbishments help the attractions run smoothly. Almost every trip you take, you are bound to run into some type of refurbishment.

Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney theme parks around the world. It’s not uncommon for at least one attraction to be closed at any given time.

Refurbishments may take place for various reasons. Whether it be for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment is needed to ensure the best experience for Guests. Based on the nature of the work, the closure may be a few days or several months.

Several Disneyland attractions have undergone refurbishment along with quite a few others. One of the other many refurbishments that took place at Disneyland was Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland went under refurbishment beginning in mid-March. At the time, we were unsure of how long this refurbishment would last.

We have great news for those visiting Disneyland! The attraction is scheduled to reopen this summer.

After quite an extended refurbishment of nearly four months, it is great to see that it will be open to guests in just a few short months!
