It’s going to be busy! Disney is updating theme park hours for this summer.
Magic Kingdom
We definitely need more at Magic Kingdom this summer. The park will now stay open later on the following dates: June 5, June 6, June 8, June 10-15, June 17-27, June 29, July 1, July 2. Previously, the park closed at 10:00 pm on these dates, but now it will close at 11:00 pm.
This means Guests staying at deluxe Resorts can enjoy the park until 1:00 am on June 8, June 15, June 22, and June 29. I really enjoyed our evening in December, and I am looking forward to experiencing it again in a few weeks!
The park will continue to open at 9:00 am with 8:30 early theme park entry.
Epcot
With the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in just ONE week, Epcot will definitely be a lot busier this summer. From June 5 all the way through July 2, Epcot will now open at 8:30 am (previously 9:00 am). Early entry for resort Guests will begin at 8:00 am.
Unfortunately, the park will continue to close at 9:00 pm. I really miss when it stayed open until 10:00 or 11:00.
Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be a really hard park to strategize due to the number of headliners there are. Disney is giving us a bit of extra time with an opening of 8:30 am from June 5 through July 2. Early theme park entry will now take place at 8:00 am.

Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom will now open at 7:30 am on June 9. Previously, the park was scheduled to open at 8:00 am. Early entry will now take place at 7:00 am.
Unfortunately, the park will close at 6:00 pm. With sunset not taking place until 9:00 pm this summer, it does not seem likely that the Tree of Life nighttime show will take place with a 6:00 pm closing. This also means the park will close before Pandora gets the chance to light up at night. Bummer!
