2021 Disney+ Day
In 2021, the first Disney+ Day took place on November 12. To celebrate, Disney released several new titles. Not only that, but subscribers received fun perks in the Disney Parks, at home, and on shopDisney!
Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios were given a free Disney+ baseball hat and a commemorative pin. These fun gifts went quickly. In addition, Disney press photographers and even Good Morning America was there filming! Check out Donna’s fun day HERE.
But, the best part was the rare character sightings and magic shots!! Many characters were there that day including: Tiana as well as Russel and Dug from Pixar’s Up.
They also included a Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Chip ‘n Dale, Goofy and Pluto as are customarily featured in the Mickey & Friends motorcade throughout the day.
2022 Announcement
Since the first Disney+ Day coincided with the launch of the Disney+ streaming service, we anticipated it following on the same day in 2022. However, that is not the case at all! September 8, 2022 is the 2022 date leading into D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event!
