Disney World park pass reservations are becoming more scarce. Check out details on when Disney hits capacity.
Park Pass Reservations
Since the phased reopening of the theme parks, park reservations are required for all four theme parks. Although Disney makes more park passes available at times, it’s a good idea to secure them as soon as you book your vacation. This is especially important during busier times of the year.
Now, it looks like summer crowds are here!
Annual Passholders
Annual Passes help guests who visit the Disney Parks regularly save money. However, Annual Passholders have a finite number of Park Reservations that they can secure without a Disney hotel reservation. Although passes are limited, at times Disney releases bonus passes.
Let’s look at how many Park Reservations are available for each Annual Passholder Tier:
- Disney Incredi-Pass: Up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Sorcerer Pass: Up to 5 reservations at a time
- Disney Pirate Pass: Up to 4 reservations at a time
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass: Up to 3 reservations at a time

Now, however, no Disney World Annual Passholder park passes are available for today, June 2, and tomorrow, June 3.
Theme Park Guests
Those staying offsite for their vacation or just wanting to go to Disney World this weekend may be disappointed. Not only can Annual Passes not be purchased, but now theme park guests are also sold out on June 2 and 3 also!
Resort Guests
Even though Annual Passholders can only hold so many passes at a time, this rule doesn’t apply when booking a Disney World Resort stay. For example, annual passholders can book 14 park passes with a 13-night stay. Disney allows guests to book a park pass on check out day also.
For now, that doesn’t help resort guests that haven’t booked a park reservation for today and tomorrow (June 2-3) though. Take a look at the calendar above and you’ll see no availability on those dates.
Summer Crowds
Looking at these calendars, it appears summer crowds are flocking to Disney World. Would you visit in the summer or is it just too hot? Also, it doesn’t look like park passes are going away anytime soon.
If you cannot get the park reservation you want during busy times, make sure to book another one. That way you’ll be able to park hop at 2:00pm. See other dates this summer that are already booked up.
What are your thoughts on Disney’s park pass reservations? Do you think they’re an effective way to keep crowds reasonable, or just a way for Disney to manipulate guests? Please let us know in the comments below and on Facebook.
