There are two ways Disney will load Guests onto the ride: virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lane Selections. The free way to ride Cosmic Rewind is through the virtual queue. The first virtual queue opens at 7:00 am for Disney Resort Guests. If you do not succeed right at 7:00 am, be sure to check out this tip to still gain a boarding group HERE. Later in the day, guests can also try to join a virtual queue at 1:00 pm. Additionally, if you are park hopping to Epcot at 2:00 pm, you can try to join if it is still open.

What if you have read all of the articles and are ready to join the Virtual Queue for Cosmic Rewind right at 7:00 am, but you do not succeed? We have great news for you! Additionally, boarding groups are added moments after the initial 7:00 am drop. Be sure to check out this article so you can secure your boarding group.

Now we have great news for guests that are unable to secure a boarding group with the above tip or simply guests that do not want to wake up at 7:00 am while on vacation. According to Thrill Data, the 1:00 pm virtual queue remained open until 2:27 pm this afternoon.

This is excellent news for guests hoping to secure a boarding group at 1:00 pm. Please remember that to secure a boarding group at 1:00 pm then you must first have tapped into EPCOT for the day.

Today, the 1:00 pm virtual queue for Cosmic Rewind remained open until 2:27!

Also, note that the availability of boarding groups at 1:00 pm largely depends upon the number of boarding groups that have already been called. If the attraction is temporarily closed this will inevitably affect the number of boarding groups later in the day.
