Happening now: apparent emergency with police presence at Disney Springs

Guests are being told they cannot enter as police are on the scene.

While Disney is home to dozens of hotels, theme parks, and water parks, they also have a rather large shopping and dining complex as well. You can find amazing restaurants like Chef Art’s Homecomin’ and Jaleo. Take in the music and performances at Ragland Road or House of Blues.

There’s even shopping and unique experiences like the M&M Store. Cirque du Soleil also performs its current incredible show: Drawn to Life. With so many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options Disney Springs can be a very busy place.

Disney Springs is no stranger to emergencies. Everything from weapons to car accidents has happened there. Guests visiting Disney Springs tonight are having trouble accessing parking due to an apparent emergency currently happening now.

Some type of emergency or situation is currently unfolding at the Orange Garage tonight, June 15. There are five garages where Guests can park their private vehicles.

The Orange Garage is located on the West Side of Disney Springs. Nearby restaurants include Everglazed, Salt & Straw, and Jaleo. It is near Splitsville bowling, AMC Theater, and the Cirque du Soleil theater.

Right now the entrance to the garage is blocked by police. Personnel are forcing those Guests attempting to park around. Basically no one is allowed to enter the garage, but we are unsure if the same goes for those trying to leave the garage.

In the photos you can see a crowd of people trying to access their vehicles but are unable to. Police vehicles are parked close by. At this time we are unsure what is happening at the Orange Garage in Disney Springs. We will keep you updated if we learn more.
