Do you have a Toy Story fan? Check out these fun galactic treats during your next trip to Walt Disney World.
Lightyear
Based on the origins of Buzz Lightyear, the actual hero not the toy, Lightyear reveals how a young pilot became the Space Ranger we know and love. Disney describes the film as “a sci-fi action-adventure and the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy, “Lightyear” follows the legendary Space Ranger on an intergalactic adventure alongside a group of ambitious recruits and his robot companion Sox.”
Guests visiting Walt Disney World can enjoy a special preview of this new film. Check out this special preview HERE. In preparation for the film’s release, we have seen Lego sets, apparel, play sets, and more. None of these pale in comparison to how cool the newest merchandise is though. Be sure to check out the newest Lightyear souvenir HERE.
Now you can enjoy some sweet treats for a limited time in honor of our favorite Galactic Hero.
Galactic Treats
Over at Disney Springs, guests can enjoy a sweet treat. At Swirls on the Water, guests can enjoy this Buzz Lightyear Star Commander Cone. This is a purple cheesecake soft-serve adorned with chocolate wings and space sprinkles. Many guests have shared that not only is this cone “Instagram-worthy”, but it is also quite delicious as well.
This will be available until the end of June.
At Magic Kingdom, Space Commanders can enjoy the Zurg Freeze. Can you imagine a better treat to enjoy after completing Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin than this? You can find this frozen drink over at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland. This will be available on the menu starting tomorrow, June 17, until the end of June.
Both the Buzz Lightyear Star Commander Cone, at Disney Springs, and the Zurg Freeze, at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, will be available until the end of June.
These are such fun treats for Toy Story and Lightyear fans both the young and the young at heart to enjoy while at Walt Disney World.
