Breaking: Some Guests Now Able To Book Minnie Vans TODAY

Sometimes getting around Disney World can be a bit of a challenge. This ride share option is now available sooner than we thought!

Disney stopped their paid rideshare service when the parks reopened. These stylish polka dot vans and SUVs moved Guests around Disney property and back and forth to the Orlando International Airport.

I (Heather) always loved these as an option when dining at another Disney resort. Using a Minnie Van meant you would not have to travel to a theme park or Disney Springs to then transfer to another bus, boat, or monorail to get to your final location.

Even though this rideshare option became very pricey, it was something my family splurged on for those late night or early dining reservations. Also, they became very popular, and sometimes hard to get!

Disney shared back in March that Minnie Vans are returning! This confirmed all of our past speculations.

Disney confirmed that starting on June 29th, guests can book a Minnie Van using their LYFT app! This was very exciting news as many guests love using this rideshare to travel throughout the Disney property.

In the picture above you can see a screen shot of the Lyft app. I was able to schedule a Minnie Van TODAY to take me from Bay Lake Tower to Saratoga Springs Resort.

Some guests are now able to see and book Minnie Vans in their Lyft app. This is more than a week early!

The total cost for the trip would be $43.44. So, as you can see definitely not a cheap option. As this is a pretty pricey one way trip, I’m not sure it is something my family will choose every time, but I am happy the option is returning!

What do you think of Minnie Vans returning? Will you be booking one on your next trip? Let us know on the Kenny the Pirate Facebook page. Don’t forget to join the KtP crew page, too!
