We are halfway to the holidays, and there are so many fun announcements coming at us about what to expect this holiday season in Walt Disney World! Are you hoping to catch your favorite holiday displays at Disney World’s Resorts this year? Well you’re in luck!
Holiday displays
If you’ve ever been lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World during the holidays, you know the Resorts pull out all of the stops when it comes to decorating. From a gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club, to massive Christmas trees scattered throughout Walt Disney World, there are so many beautiful displays to see!
Of course, there is always the famous life size gingerbread house, on display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Last year, this gingerbread house even featured some 50th anniversary magic!
Everything from the gingerbread shingles to the custom hand-painted character windows show the love that goes into this fabulous gingerbread house. Also, Disney chefs added elaborate EARidescent landscapes and handcrafted sugar flowers. The team put and care into even the tiniest details.
Gingerbread everywhere!
In years past, there have been holiday gingerbread displays all throughout Walt Disney World’s Resorts, including at Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Beach Club, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. For a look at all of the great gingerbread displays, check out Monica’s post HERE.
This year, we are so excited that Disney has confirmed that gingerbread displays will be returning to Walt Disney World’s Resorts again!
“Guests will encounter artisan-made gingerbread creations displayed in select locations.”
Disney Parks Blog
Although Disney did not confirm which gingerbread displays will be returning, we can expect to see Guest favorites like the Grand Floridian’s gingerbread house and Beach Club’s gingerbread carousel once again.
