The Holidays at Disney World
It’s halfway to Christmas and Disney is celebrating by throwing a bunch of holiday announcements at us! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party IS RETURNING! You can see dates and pricing HERE.
Epcot will also celebrate with Festival of the Holidays in 2022. See all of the amazing things to enjoy HERE. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will have a festive overlay! Looks like I’m booking a Christmas trip…
Where to find Santa
Perhaps a photo with Santa is on your list for this year? From Disney:
The holiday season will be an especially busy time for Jolly Old St. Nick as he makes special appearances throughout Walt Disney World. Catch him cruising down Hollywood Boulevard in his candy-apple red convertible at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the Santa Claus Merry Motorcade and voyaging across the Discovery River as part of a festive flotilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Santa Claus will continue to spread the joyous spirit of the season during visits to Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs, where guests may have individual time to take photos and share their Christmas wishes. Last year, Disney implemented a virtual queue for Disney Springs Santa. Time will tell if they continue that this year or not.
Santa can be found at all four theme parks and Disney Springs.
Finally, at EPCOT, Santa Claus will join storytellers from around the world as a part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth beginning November 25. He is located in the America Adventure pavilion.
So, to recap: Santa will be at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. However, he will not have a traditional meet and greet at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
I really enjoyed meeting and taking photos with Santa at Hollywood Studios, and I am kind of bummed to see this won’t return this year. Is he gone forever there?
