It’s a “grand” opening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Have a look at the brand new Disney Vacation Club resort studios. Are you hoping to stay in these new rooms soon?
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is advertised as a lavish hotel in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World. The elegant buildings are influenced by Palm Beach’s golden area where Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication.
This resort is easily one of the most expensive resorts on property but also one of the most beautiful.
The Victorian Styled buildings are red and white featuring gabled roofs and an impressive five story Grand Lobby. With nearly 900 rooms, this resort sits on 40 acres of land. It is not nearly as large as some of the other Resorts on property, making every room location a wonderful choice!
The Resort features hotel rooms and an entire building of Disney Vacation Club rooms. Head over HERE to read more about the Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!
Disney Vacation Club expansion
Since this resort is so popular, it often books up quickly. The Disney Vacation Club portion of the resort only has about 100 suites and villas ranging from studios to 3 bedroom grand villas.
Disney reimagined the Big Pine Key building, which is a building in the non-DVC part of the resort, and converted it to about 200 studios! The studios have just opened, and they look absolutely incredible!
A “grand” opening
The opening of the new studios was celebrated in a garden tea party, practically perfect for the occasion!
“Celebrated for its Victorian architecture and elegance, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of our ‘grandest’ Disney Vacation Club resorts,” said Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club.
Alice, Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit joined the tea party celebration and led the way to the magical key that revealed the first look at the new resort studios.
