It’s not looking good for the return of Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios

Do you love the Jedi Training experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Check out this recent update that doesn’t look so good for this fun experience.

More Experiences Returning

Recently we announced that great character meet and greets will return to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer. Guests can also enjoy fireworks twice each night for select dates this summer.

Personalized enchanting extras are returning soon to the Magic Kingdom with the Harmony Barber Shop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. With so many experiences returning, many guests have wondered when their favorite experiences may also return. One such experience that many are curious about is the Jedi Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Young ones between the ages of 4 and 12 could sign up and train with Jedi Knights and then put on a stage show against Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and Stormtroopers. My (Donna) family absolutely loved this experience. The last time my young Jedis enjoyed this experience was in February 2020. I had no idea that would be the last time that my oldest Jedi would be able to enjoy this experience.

Earlier this month we shared multiple reasons why Jedi Training remains closed. Check out the many possible reasons for this HERE. Now we have two BIG signs that Jedi Training may not be returning – at least not in quite a while.

Signs for Indefinite Closure

Previously, Jedi Training was listed on the Walt Disney World website as “unavailable.”  Back on June 24th, this experience was completely removed from the Walt Disney World website. You can check out possible reasons for this HERE. We were hoping this experience would still return, but today it appears that Jedi Academy may be closed indefinitely.

Jedi Academy was held at the Temple stage near Star Tours. Although this experience has remained closed since the park closure in 2020, a sign remained with showtimes. This sign is now missing.

What do you think of this update? Do you think Jedi Training may return? Do you think this experience is closed to help encourage guests to book a stay aboard the Galactic Starcruiser? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
