Get your autograph books and cameras ready! These characters are now greeting guests earlier than expected at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Characters Returning
Starting in April, guests were once again able to hug and interact with many of their favorite Disney characters. The Disney Parks shared that those character interactions would return in phases. Read more about this HERE.
Previously guests could enjoy a few pop-up characters in Galaxy’s Edge. Recently, social distancing was removed, and now you can have a traditional character interaction with your favorite characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Recently, Disney Parks shared that more characters will return to Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We were overjoyed with the return of many of our favorite characters. Now guests can interact with their favorite Star Wars characters even sooner than expected.
Now Greeting Guests
Earlier we shared that at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars Launch Bay would reopen on July 17th. A celebration of the legendary space saga, Star Wars Launch Bay is your place for a warm embrace with Chewbacca, a face-to-droid encounter with BB-8, or a run-in with Darth Vader himself for those brave enough.
Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, July 10th, were delighted to discover that Star Wars Launch Bay is open. According to Disney guests, both Darth Vader and Chewbacca are greeting guests at Star Wars Launch Bay. This is a whole week sooner than previously announced.
This is great news for all Star Wars fans; we can’t wait to enjoy these fantastic character experiences soon.
