Breakfast at Disney World theme parks has been a bit hard to come by. Even harder: pre-park opening breakfasts! See which restaurant you can dine at before the park opens!
Pre Park Opening Breakfast
Have you ever wanted to get into Magic Kingdom before anyone else? Walk down Main Street, U.S.A. and get those beautiful castle photos without crowds of people behind you? Enter the pre park opening breakfast (PPO).
Not sure what that is? Before the park closure in March 2020, many restaurants in the theme parks opened before the park actually opened. This was a great way to get those empty park shots and enjoy a meal before the park even opened.
If you timed it just right, you could finish your meal just as the park was opening and would be ahead of the crowd for those headliner attractions. I have done this with Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom.
However, breakfast has been hard to come by in the theme parks since they reopened in July 2020. Many restaurants, like Crystal Palace and Garden Grill, do not even serve breakfast anymore. Other restaurants like Hollywood & Vine and Tusker House open when the park opens.
In these cases, you do not have a real advantage to eating at park opening. That is valuable time wasted at a sit-down meal and not in line for headliners. It’s better to enjoy a later breakfast once the crowds arrive.
One pre park opening breakfast IS available!
You may have thought there is no way to get into the theme parks with a pre park opening breakfast. However, there is ONE restaurant that has reservations available before the park opens: Cinderella’s Royal Table!
Located in Cinderella Castle, Cinderella’s Royal Table is a fine dining experience that includes a meet with Cinderella. Unfortunately, the other princesses are not meeting Guests in the dining hall yet, but you can get a picture with Cinderella before heading upstairs.
This restaurant does accept reservations before the park opens. For example, the Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 am today with Early Theme Park Entry at 8:30 am. Cinderella’s Royal Table is open for breakfast at 8:00 am.
The one downside is that they are not letting people into the park early like they used to. You will have to wait at the entrance points even if you have PPO breakfast or any other reservation like Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
This also means you won’t get your empty castle photo, and you probably cannot get in and out before the attractions open. However, it is nice to know that Cinderella’s Royal Table is open and serving Guests before the park opens!

So eat your breakfast in 1/2 hour so you can be in line with the other early morning entrants? Yikes

Crystal Palace needs to serve breakfast again. I miss their "breakfast lasagna".
