Another Disney attraction refurbishment begins soon

Refurbishments happen often for Disney attractions. Another one begins soon!

No one really likes to hear that their favorite attraction will be closed during their trip. Attractions, buildings, and even sidewalks need to be maintained. Refurbishments help the parks run smoothly. During almost every trip you take, you are bound to run into some type of refurbishment.

From resorts to the streets of Main Street, there is always work to be done at the Disney Parks. Now refurbishment is coming to another Disney attraction.

Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue

Venture inside the Monstropolis Transit Terminal and hail a taxi cab for a tour of the town. As your journey begins, an emergency “special report” is unexpectedly broadcast inside your cab—a human child is loose in Monstropolis and must be caught!

Help friendly monsters Mike and Sulley as they race to return little girl Boo safely to her home. Can she find the way back before it’s too late?

Closing Soon

Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue will close for a brief refurbishment beginning next month. The attraction is set to temporarily pause operations on August 15, 2022. Fortunately, this refurbishment is brief! It reopens again on September 3, 2022.

My (Monica) family and I have our very first Disneyland trip planned for the beginning of September, and it is my hope to experience as many of the attractions as possible! I am so glad to see this refurbishment is brief. Let’s hope the Matterhorn Bobsleds refurbishment is small as well!
