The new MagicBand+ will light up and even vibrate depending on where you are located in the Parks. Guests can even have a whole new experience in Batuu as a Bounty Hunter!

The MagicBand+ will be on sale today at 10 A.M. ET, but Annual Passholders and Disney Resort guests (pre-arrival) are now able to make selections as of early this morning. Be sure to check out the special pricing and all of the great design choices HERE.

Purchasing at Walt Disney World

Many guests visiting Walt Disney World today were lining up early not for an attraction, but to purchase the new MagicBand+. Our very own KtP writer, Jamie, is visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning. The line was quickly forming at Riverside Depot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The line began at the store entrance and extended to the Wilderness Explorers booth near the park entrance.

Once the store opened, guests formed a queue inside the store. There is currently a limit of 2 MagicBand+ per SKU number for each guest.

It appears that they have a great selection of designs at this time. We have heard similar accounts from the other Walt Disney World parks of lines forming to purchase the brand new MagicBand+. It will be interesting to see how the lines will be throughout the day.
