Gideon’s Bakehouse is an extremely popular place to grab treats in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. The bakehouse serves up delectable bakery items including cakes and cookies as well as caffeinated brews.

In fact, it is so popular that the line typically spills out into the street and wraps around the building. If you are at Gideon’s and you don’t see a line, it is most likely because it became so long that the staff moved it to a virtual queue.

It is true that Gideon’s has long been known for its cookies, cakes, and cold brews. However, now the bakery is bringing fans a new type of treat! Right now, Guests can consume the magic in a brand new way. Gideon’s is testing out truffles in Walt Disney World.

The special flavor being offered right now sounds phenomenal. This truffle is made starting with a hefty Gideon’s style Truffle filled with Key Lime Pie Chocolate Chip Cookie mixed with Key Lime Buttercream and housemade Lemon Curd. What a way to enjoy the citrus flavors of Florida on your vacation!

When Can You Get Them

Availability for these treats is extremely limited as they do take quite a long time to make. Guests can only purchase them on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is highly likely that they will sell out early, so you will need to act quickly if you want to be one of the lucky few to taste one.

Additionally, they are limited to just two per guest. If you are thinking of getting them and saving them for later, you might want to think again because they may not withstand the heat. It will be best to devour them right away.

So far, Gideon’s has not announced whether they will continue making truffles. Let’s hope the experiment goes well because they look so tasty and it would be fun to see more flavor possibilities.
