Single rider lines offer low wait times for select attractions at Disney World. Another one was just added!
Single Rider Lines
Single rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those who are traveling solo or don’t mind riding the attraction with the rest of their party. Basically single riders get squeezed in wherever there is a seat available. Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less waiting around in line!
Attractions at Disney World that utilize single rider access include Expedition Everest, Test Track, Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.
New Attraction Added
Disney World just added a new attraction that offers single rider line over at Epcot. Take flight on a hang glider above the breathtaking wonders of the world on Soarin’. Feel the thrill gliding in the air and be swept from one stunning scene to the next.
The 180-degree 80-foot IMAX digital projection dome, spectacular aerial footage, pleasant scents and graceful motion make this a one-of-a-kind experience. Check out the real life locations for the attraction!
This ride is very popular over at Epcot, and we are so excited to share that it now offers a single rider line!
Soarin’ now offers a single rider line.
How it works
To access the single rider line, approach the Lightning Lane entrance. A Cast Member is holding a sign that indicates a roped off portion of that is the single rider entrance.
You will follow that single rider queue all the way through until you approach the concourses. A Cast Member will instruct you where to go.
That’s it! It’s a very simple process. However, Cast Members are still in training and this is in testing phase. Based on our experience, waiting for the single rider took longer than the standby line. When we exited off the ride, we noticed them close the line. The wait time is currently 15-20 minutes at the moment so that could be why.
