SpringTime Surprise
Springtime Surprise is the newest addition to the runDisney race weekends. runDisney will change up the themes for these races every year!
This is a fun way to get new and different themes for our favorite Disney World races! One thing we didn’t know is what the race distances would be. I (Heather) was starting to wonder if it would be a surprise of what you would be signing up for. Club runDisney registration is set for next week.
Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration beings August 16, 2022 at 10 AM Eastern Time. General Registration begins August 23, 2022 at 10 AM Eastern Time.
Luckily we now know! I love these themes and race distances too!
2023 Springtime Surprise Race Themese
runDisney is celebrating friendship and magic with a Pixar theme! We will get to see some of our favorite characters that inspired the races including Cars, Monsters, and Toy Story!
Sunrise Yoga
A fan favorite event will return, but it will be in a new location. Yoga Participants will feel like movie stars because they will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Disney Pixar Cars 5K
KACHOW! The 5K will be a Cars theme! You can celebrate Lightning McQueen, Mater and all of their pals along this 3.1 mile course! I feel this race will fill up quickly!
Disney Pixar Monsters 10K
The 10K race will celebrate all of our favorite monsters from Monstropolis. This will sure to be a race that will scare the laughs out of you!
Disney’s Pixar Toy Story 10-Miler
Hooray! The 10-Miler is back! This is a popular distance that unfortunately runners do not get to see all the time.
I am excited that this distance is back, and I’m sure racers are ready to go to infinity and beyond (or maybe just 10 miles) for this Toy Story themed race!
runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge
Runners will “just keep swimming” to get to the finish line of ALL 3 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend events (5K, 10K, and 10-Miler). A fun Nemo theme is what we will see, for those who finish the Springtime Surprise Challenge.
Keep in mind that you must register for the Springtime Surprise Challenge in order to receive this event medal! Best of luck runners!
