Many times guests do not notice general maintenance taking place around the Disney Parks. Typically maintenance and construction are completed while the park is closed to guests. As the Disney Parks remain open year-round, refurbishments and maintenance are a part of life at Disney theme parks around the world.

At times these maintenance tasks and refurbishments can cause attractions or locations to be closed at any given time. Currently, work is taking place right along Main Street, USA. Soon refurbishments will be underway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. Another refurbishment is soon scheduled for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and an attraction will soon close at Magic Kingdom.

At EPCOT, guests may notice general maintenance taking place at the World Showcase Lagoon. At EPCOT one of the most beloved nighttime show is enjoyed every night. ’Harmonious’ closes the curtain for each EPCOT day with the show’s hopeful message of the magic that happens when people join together.

Many Disney guests love the new Harmonious show but dislike the large black barges and the large center ring that are scattered throughout the World Showcase Lagoon.

Today, a crew can be seen around the large center barge. This center barge provides water spray projections that beautifully accompany the musical journey that includes 240 artists from all parts of our globe.

We are thankful that general maintenance can be completed so that this nighttime show can be enjoyed without interruption.
