Planning on visiting Animal Kingdom this coming fall? If so, you will be happy to hear that the current family style dining will soon be a thing of the past at a favorite dining experience!
Tusker House Restaurant
Tusker House is a wonderful dining experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park that currently serves a family-style menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner all while offering a unique setting with a fun character meal with Donald, Mickey and friends in their safari gear.
Prior to the park closure in 2020, Tusker House’s dining experience was set up as a buffet. However, when the restaurant reopened in June 2021, restrictions prevented Tusker House from offering the buffet experience.
Luckily, times are changing and Disney continues to be flexible in easing restrictions for their offerings – one of them being the dining experience at Tusker House restaurant.
Tusker House Buffet Returns
This morning Disney has confirmed by posting on the Walt Disney World website that they will do away with family-style dining and the buffet will take its place.
Family-style dining will remain at Tusker House Restaurant through October 31, and the buffet will return on November 1. The buffet menu will be available soon.
With the change, it is unknown if the current prices will remain in place or if there will be a change. At the moment, the cost to enjoy the dining experience at Tusker House for breakfast is $42 per adult and $27 per child. Lunch and dinner costs $55 for per adult and $36 per child.
We are so happy to hear the news about the buffet coming back to Tusker House. Many of my (Marisol) favorite memories at Tusker House have been my kids shaking a tail feather with Donald and his friends while enjoying the yummy food!
Are you excited that the buffet is coming back to Tusker House at Animal Kingdom Park? What is your favorite part of the meal and experience? Let us know in the comments on Facebook and in our Facebook group.
