There is nothing quite like being able to meet your favorite characters in Disney Parks. Over the past year, character interactions have returned. We have enjoyed great rare characters at the resorts, over at Disneyland, and also at Walt Disney World as well.

Earlier at the D23 Expo, Disney announced that a new character would soon greet guests at the Avenger’s Campus, at Galaxy’s Edge, and even at the Haunted Mansion. Now we have news of a character that can only be found at EPCOT.

Figment is a small purple dragon that is a figment of everyone’s imagination. On March 5, 1983, the brand new attraction, “Journey Into the Imagination” opened at FutureWorld in Epcot. It introduced and featured both Figment and the Dreamfinder.

Figment has also appeared in a series of Epcot educational media short videos for schools and in two Marvel Comics’ Disney Kingdoms brand comic book series. These series have recently become popular once again. You can learn more about Figment HERE.

Previously guests could meet Figment, our favorite little spark. He has not greeted guests for many years. Now we have great news for Character Locators. Figment will be greeting guests again very soon in the coming months. An exact date is not revealed, but we can’t wait to interact with Figment once again very soon.

Now we have great news for Character Locators. Figment will be greeting guests again very soon in the coming months.

We love the many opportunities to interact with our favorite characters at the Disney Parks. It will be great to once again be able to see Figment.

Are you a fan of Figment? Do you hope to meet him?  Let us know in the comments on Facebook and in our Facebook group.
