For decades the infamous phrase “I’m Going to Disney World!” has been shouted by champions. Another celebrity will now be saying those words!

The Super Bowl tradition first started after Super Bowl XXI on January 25, 1987. A Disney commercial starred New York Giant’s quarterback, Phil Simms. After the winning game, Simms was asked, “Now that you’ve won the Super Bowl, what are you going to do?”
Simms responded, “I’m going to Disney World!” The payoff was $75,000 and this commercial has been rewritten every year since. NFL victors are welcomed at Walt Disney World. They joined Mickey Mouse in a triumphant parade throughout the Magic Kingdom.
Now a new champion shouted these infamous words for a truly magical celebration.
Disney Celebrates the GOAT
The Los Angeles Rams were the champions during this year’s Super Bowl. However, the next day many people aren’t talking about the Rams. They are talking about the GOATs. Many Disney fans were delighted to view the newest Disney+ commercial featured in the Super Bowl featured GOATs. GOAT is typically referenced as a slang term for the “Greatest Of All Time.”
Now a true GOAT is coming to Walt Disney World to celebrate her illustrious career. Serena Williams is without a doubt one of the greatest tennis stars of our lifetime. As the US Open Tennis Tournament comes to a close many wondered if this would be the last competitive event for Williams.
When asked what she was going to do next, Williams turned to the TV cameras and shouted: “I’m going to Disney World!” At this time dates and full details have not been provided. Disney Parks Blog did share, “I can tell that it will be an amazing spectacle with toe-tapping entertainment, popular Disney characters, and a festive atmosphere.”
