There is so much to see and explore throughout Walt Disney World. Many guests enjoy adding a few “Enchanting Extras” to their time in the Disney Parks. When the Disney Parks closed due to COVID back in 2020, many of these extra experiences closed indefinitely.

Disney’s “Behind the Seeds” tour will return on October 2nd. Disney describes this as a “one-hour walking tour that gives you an up-close and personal view of amazing plants, insects, and fish throughout four state-of-the-art greenhouses.”

Returning Early?

Could this tour return earlier than expected? Today, Kenny the Pirate is completing another ride challenge and began in Epcot. While walking through The Land pavilion, he noticed many Cast Members gathered around the Behind the Seeds check-in area.

It’s completely possible this is simply Cast Member training taking place. The tour does return in 2.5 weeks after all! With this much presence “onstage” for Guests to see, it does make us wonder if maybe we will get a “soft opening.”

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reopened a bit early which was a pleasant surprise! You can see which other tours are returning to Epcot in this post. As a reminder, reservations for all 3 tours open next week!

What do you think of these “Special Experiences”? Have you enjoyed any of these before? Do you think Behind the Seeds may return sooner than expected? Will you be making reservations?
