Attraction Malfunctions

We have seen quite a few attractions not working properly at Walt Disney World in the last few days. First, we saw the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run in B Mode at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then, only a couple of days later guests were reporting only one service elevator was operating at the Tower of Terror.

Malfunctions are quite common to see all across Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, if you are visiting it is definitely not something you want to see!

If they do occur, attractions will either remain closed for part or all of the day. Then because of them being down, this will affect lines for other attractions. It can make for a less than magical experience.

Today, guests visiting EPCOT received a push notification on MDE from the Vice President of EPCOT, Kartika S. Rodriguez. It said the following:

On behalf of the entire team of Epcot, I’d like to apologize that Test Track is currently unavailable. Our Cast Members are working deligently to get the attraction up and running again, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction at this time. I hope you will enjoy some of our other attractions during your experience in the park today.

Test Track at EPCOT has not opened at all today and remains temporarily closed.

At the time of writing, My Disney Experience lists the attraction as being temporarily closed. Lightning Lane selections for Genie+ are also unavailable.

We hope Test Track is back up and running soon! No update regarding when the attraction will reopen has been given at this time.

Are you visiting EPCOT today? Were you disappointed to see that Test Track has not opened at all today? Tell us about it in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
