Disney now issues statement for Disney Cruise Line

Right now, Florida is projected to be hit by Wednesday with hurricane-force winds and heavy rainfall. Disney issued a statement late Saturday night that they are operating under normal conditions. You can read that full statement HERE.

Earlier we shared that Fort Wilderness issued a warning to guests with current reservations. Check this out HERE. In preparation for Hurricane Ian, Walt Disney World no longer offers resort availability. Check out the affected dates HERE.

Disney Cruise Line Update

Disney Cruise Line shared an update this morning, September 27th at 9:00 am (ET). “We have been closely monitoring Hurricane Ian. Based on the current projected forecast, we anticipate that the Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Dream will sail as scheduled.

“However, there is a possibility that the Disney Wish will return to Port Canaveral on Friday, September 30th, later than originally scheduled.”

Disney shares that they will notify guests if changes will occur on their return to Port Canaveral. In regards to Walt Disney World, even more cancellations and closures are expected in the coming days.

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members are hard at work making preparations for Hurricane Ian. We pray for all guests visiting Walt Disney World and those living in the path of Hurricane Ian.
