Late last week, we began our coverage of Hurricane Ian. It has officially hit Florida and the Orlando area, and Disney World has been taking precautions for the last few days in preparation. First, the parks and Disney Springs were closed yesterday and again today.

Second, new resort reservations are halted until October 3, and Disney is going above and beyond for those Guests riding out the storm on property. Meal kits and special activities are helping Guests feel at ease during the hurricane.

With varying degrees of damage sustained around property, reopening as scheduled on Friday was up in the air. However, Disney just shared reopening plans.

Theme park reservations ARE required. Be sure you make or modify your pass before you head to the parks tomorrow.

In addition, all dining and Enchanted Extra experience reservations prior to the listed park hours above are canceled. Guests who have existing dining or Enchanted Extras experiences during early theme park entry will be allowed to enter the parks whether or not they are resort guests.

At this time, Disney did not announce any park hopping tomorrow, but we assume that Guests will be able to park hop after 2 pm. We will share any updates to that if needed.

Will you be in the parks tomorrow? What do you think of these hours? Let us know in the comments below and on Facebook.
