Guests visiting Walt Disney World have many options for transportation, but one transportation line is currently down. Check out how this may affect your day.
Disney Transportation
There are many differing opinions on transportation options, largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting. The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE and many questions revolve around what is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park.
From the Skyliner, buses, ferry boats, and of course the monorail there are many options for Resort Guests to arrive at each of the Walt Disney World Parks. Choosing the fastest and most efficient form of transportation is key to a peaceful visit.
Disney Skyliner
The Skyliner is a magical way to start a day at EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Skyliner stations are at Art of Animation Resort, Pop Century Resort, Riviera Resort, and the main hub at Caribbean Beach.
The Skyliner is closed due to extreme weather and typically closes in January for a brief refurbishment. Today is a beautiful day in Florida, yet the Skyliner line is closed from Caribbean Beach to EPCOT and back. At this time, the Cast Members did not share the reason for this closure or when the Skyliner may reopen for guests.
This is a bit of an inconvenience for guests hoping to utilize the Disney Skyliner today. We are hoping that the Skyliner may resume operation quickly. Be sure to check out the many options of Disney transportation HERE.
The Skyliner line is closed from Caribbean Beach to EPCOT and back with no indication as to when it will reopen.
