Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? Guests will want to be aware of this update for cancellation fees at Walt Disney World.
Cancellation Fees Waived
If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World, you undoubtedly will put in additional planning before your trip. Up to 60 days before your dream vacation, you can make reservations for dining and Enchanted Extras as well.
Guests have until 11:59 pm, the night before their reservation, to cancel their dining reservation or they will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. Last week as Hurricane Ian approached the Walt Disney World Resort, many Disney Resorts were closed along with special guest experiences.
Due to these closings, all dining cancellation fees were waived at all Disney World dining locations. This includes dining locations at all theme parks and resorts onsite at Walt Disney World. Read more about this HERE.
Update for Cancellation Fees
Last week, Walt Disney World reopened with adjusted park hours, and the Orlando International Airport welcomed Guests again. Now, it appears that things are back to normal operations at Walt Disney World. Along with this return to “normal” brings an update to cancellation fees.
Today Walt Disney World shared that they will continue to waive cancellation fees until this Sunday, October 9, 2022. This covers dining as well as special experiences such other experiences like Savi’s Workshop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
This temporary waive of cancellation fees was a blessing to all who had to postpone their vacations or modify their plans due to Hurricane Ian. Guests of Walt Disney World will want to take note of the return of these cancellation fees to avoid unnecessary charges.
