Dame Angela Lansbury
Many may remember actress Dame Angela Lansbury as the starring actress on her hit television series “Murder She Wrote.” Lansbury first appeared on this show in 1984 and after 12 seasons, this amazing series finally ended in 1996.
Lansbury was also in many of our favorite Disney movies as well. In 1971, she starred in the Disney film “Bedknobs and Broomsticks”. She was the voice of our favorite Mrs. Potts in the animated classic Beauty and the Beast. Her beautiful voice in “Tale As Old As Time” will forever be a beloved Disney classic.
In 2018, Angela Lansbury appeared near the end of Mary Poppins Returns. Her illustrious career of course spans even farther than the Disney films. Over the course of her career, she received the BAFTA Lifetime Achievement Award along with multiple other rewards as well.
