Expectant mothers can now enjoy special priority access at this Disney Park. Check out the full details.
Special Guest Services
Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland offer Disability Access Services for select guests. When Disney announced Disney Genie last year, Disney also announced changes were underway for the DAS system.
In the announcement, we learned that there would be a pre-booking option and Guests would be able to obtain return times via the app instead of in person. This is wonderful news for guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to a disability.
You can read more about the DAS system HERE. Now, this Disney park is offering a special priority bracelet for select guests.
Expectant Mothers
Have you ever visited a theme park or a Disney Park while pregnant? One Disney park is now offering great access for expectant moms. Over at Disneyland Paris, they now offer expectant mothers a special priority bracelet. To gain access, expectant moms must simply present a medical certificate dated less than three months (in either English or French.)
Guests can present this at the entrance to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios, at concierge services, at City Hall, and Studio Services. Expectant moms with this priority bracelet “allow priority but not immediate access to attractions, shows, and meetings with Disney characters, as well as to the cash desks of our restaurants and shops.”
This priority access is available for the expectant mom and four additional guests for attractions and shows and two guests for parades. This is such a great service for expectant moms. We wish Walt Disney World and Disneyland would adopt this service as well.
To gain access, expectant moms simply must present a medical certificate dated less than three months (in either English or French.)
