Planning a trip to Walt Disney World? You will want to look at the big entertainment showtimes coming for two days only.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
Since the busy summer season ended, the Festival of Fantasy reduced showtimes to only once a day. Yesterday we shared that Disney is ramping entertainment back up for the crowds. Here is a look at the schedule for November into December.
- November 8-11: 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm
- November 12-13: back down to one showtime at 2:00 pm
- November 14-December 3: 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm
Character Cavalcades
To celebrate Disney World’s 50th anniversary, a new cavalcade debuted last October. Called Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, there are special music, costumes, and more. To read more about this fun cavalcade, click here.
At the beginning of this year, Walt Disney World debuted the Adventure Friends Cavalcade. This cavalcade is filled with so many characters and is such a fun addition to the Magic Kingdom entertainment schedule. On November 12th and 13th, both the Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade and the Adventure Friends Cavalcade will not be performed.
On November 12th and 13th, there are no showtimes for both the Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade and the Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire replaced the previous castle show, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. The show tells the story of Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy throwing a festival party with all their friends in attendance.
This castle show can be seen several times throughout the day, but on two dates all performances have been canceled. If you guessed that these canceled dates are on November 12 and 13th, then you are correct.
Possible Reason for Canceled Entertainment
So what is going on over at Magic Kingdom on November 12th and 13th? This has not been announced, but it could be for Christmas filming. Last year, we enjoyed holiday filming while we were at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. This was during this same time frame.
If you have ever hoped to be on television for a Disney Christmas special, you may want to wear your favorite Mickey ears and head to Magic Kingdom on these two dates.
If in fact, special holiday filming is taking place, you can enjoy special performances near Cinderella Castle. Be sure to read the full story from last year’s filming HERE.
What do you think about the altered entertainment schedule? Do you think holiday filming may take place on these dates? Have you been to the Parks for special filming before? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
