Just yesterday Marvel’s Twitter shared a cryptic post that included a 15 second video that features the Black Panther logo fading away as the first “R” in “FOREVER” remains and moves to the center of the screen as the date 10.28.22 appears beneath it. Theories began to quickly escalate on what the “R” represented and many guessed that it stood for popstar Rihanna.

The song was co-written by composer Ludwig Göransson, the film’s director Ryan Coogler, and Nigerian artist Tems. It is said to be a tribute to late Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who died from cancer before the sequel could be completed.

“Lift Me Up” is out on 10/29. Wakanda Forever is out in theaters on November 11.
