Walt Disney World is now transformed for the holiday season. Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom today can now enjoy this great holiday overlay.
Christmas Time is Here
As the last guests exited the Magic Kingdom on Halloween, crews were in place to transform the park for the Christmas season. This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party returns. Tickets are selling out fast for this event, so purchase your tickets NOW if you plan to attend.
In addition to the Christmas Party, guests enjoy the classic festive decorations throughout Main Street, U.S.A. beginning November 1.
On non-party nights, Cinderella Castle transforms to take on a magical holiday look complete with special projection effects, festive colors, and a rotating series of designs including a whimsical Christmas sweater, a jeweled castle look, and more. Starting today, guests visiting the Magic Kingdom can enjoy a great holiday overlay.
Jingle Cruise
For the holiday season, the beloved attraction Jungle Cruise receives a fun holiday overlay. This overlay transforms the Jungle Cruise into the Jingle Cruise for guests. The great news is that this new overlay is now open at the Magic Kingdom.
Guests are invited to,” Join the homesick Jungle Cruise skippers as they set out on a holly, jolly journey packed with silly shenanigans. The boathouse and beyond are decked out with merry décor that’s been mailed to the skippers or that they’ve created themselves. They’re even unwrapping a few holiday jokes to help everyone get in the spirit.”
The Jingle Cruise is offered for all guests visiting the Magic Kingdom starting today and into January. I (Donna) personally enjoy this attraction at night to enjoy all of the great Christmas lights throughout the attraction. Be sure to check it out this holiday season.
