As Florida prepares to be hit by another big storm, Walt Disney World and Orlando International Airport are prepared for the worst, while keeping the safety of their Guests in mind.
Earlier, we shared that Subtropical Storm Nicole is set to bring heavy wind and rains to Florida this week. You can read more about this update HERE. The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for Orange and Osceola Counties.
Last night, a State of Emergency was issued which affects Walt Disney World. This morning park reservations are halted for the upcoming days.
Walt Disney World has announced several upcoming closures due to the impact of this tropical storm. Walt Disney World has updated their Weather Updates & Information page with NEW closures. The Walt Disney World Water Parks and Miniature Golf locations will temporarily close on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Orlando International Airport
Orlando International Airport has announced they, too, will be ceasing operations due to the impact of this upcoming storm.
Operational Update-Tropical Storm Nicole. Together with our partners, a decision has been made to cease commercial operations at 4:00pm on Wednesday, November 9th, until circumstances permit operations resume.

The airport also shared they will continue to monitor the storm to determine potential impacts. Guests who are flying in or out of MCO should look to their specific airline for more information on how this will impact their flight.
