Storms affecting Walt Disney World
In September, Walt Disney World was greatly affected by Hurricane Ian. Walt Disney World closed for two days as Hurricane Ian made its course toward the Walt Disney World Resort. There was a phased reopening for the Disney Parks and some attractions had delayed reopenings due to possible complications from the storm.
Hurricane season extends through November, and we were hopeful that the turbulent weather was behind us. Last Friday, we shared that a new Tropical Storm was forming. Let’s check out the newest update for Tropical Storm Nicole.
We shared that Subtropical Storm Nicole is set to bring heavy wind and rains to Florida this week. You can read more about this update HERE. Today, mid-day the National Weather Service issued a Tropical Storm Watch for Orange and Osceola Counties. Now as the storm continues to strengthen a new update is now issued.
