The holidays are getting close! Walt Disney World has already begun their celebrations. Be sure to keep an eye out for some holiday specials coming as well, which you can watch from the comfort of your own home.
Holiday Filming
Every year Disney hosts various holiday specials on television. They are a great way to bring some Disney Magic into your home during these special dates. A lot of preparation goes into these specials because there are parades, celebrity performances, and more. Filming takes place at Disney World and Disneyland.
If you are at Walt Disney World this weekend, you might notice some filming take place at the Magic Kingdom! Originally scheduled to take place from November 11th through November 13th, filming was rescheduled due to Hurricane Nicole. Filming for “The Wonderful World of Disney: “Magical Holiday Celebration” began yesterday and is happening today, November 13th.
The television specials air on ABC, Disney+, and Hulu in November and December.
The Wonderful World of Disney: “Magical Holiday Celebration”
We now have a date of when you can expect to see the holiday specials on ABC.
The Wonderful World of Disney: “Magical Holiday Celebration” will air on ABC November 27th from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Along with the holiday special that evening are also the following specials:
- 7:00-7:30 p.m. “Mickey Saves Christmas” (new)
- 7:30-8:00 p.m. “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure”
- 8:00-10:00 p.m. The Wonderful World of Disney: “Magical Holiday Celebration” (new)

- 8:00 pm to 10:01 pm “The Wonderful World of Disney: “Frozen II” (broadcast premiere)
Tuesday, December 13th

- 9:30-10:00 p.m. “Disney Prep & Landing 2: Naughty Vs. Nice”

- 8:00-10:00 p.m. The Wonderful World of Disney: “Home Alone”
Sunday, December 25th
- 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. ET/ 7:00-9:00 a.m. PT “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” (new)

The CEO of Disney parks may not be aware how difficult it is to fill entry level positions when a reliable car is needed to reach work on time. And hours of work are not full time. Disney parks are “remote “ some limited public transportation is available for employees. ( Florida location )
