Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser
The 2-day galactic experience opened to guests on March 1, 2022 after months and months of anticipation. Disney gives guests an immersive vacation including a two-night, cruise-style itinerary. Guests will become the hero of their own adventure in an experience that surrounds guests in Star Wars storytelling 24 hours a day!
Guests can choose from different itineraries, have a wide range of dining options, stay in unique guest rooms and interact with plenty of Star Wars characters.
Guests choosing to go on this voyage are met with a pretty huge price tag of up to $6,000 just for two days! Despite the high price tag, Disney claims the experience has proven to be successful.
New Discount
DVC sent Members an email today sharing that they could save 30% on select Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyages in 2023. Here is what the email said:
“Step into your own epic Star Wars story and enjoy 30% off original Points Chart values on select 2-night Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser adventures! Eligible Disney Vacation Club® Members can book with Points or a combination of Points and cash*. Terms Apply**.”
These terms include that Points must be used to pay for at least one Member. You can then use a combination of Points and cash to book additional Guests.
A 30% off original Points Chart value on select adventures, however at least one Member needs to book with Points.
There is also a nonrefundable $95 transaction fee per confirmed Disney Collection reservation. Members should expect to receive a call requesting payment within 72 hours of completing booking. Disney Vacation Club reserves the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not received within 72 hours following the call.
What is Disney Vacation Club?
DVC is short for Disney Vacation Club. It is a timeshare run by Disney. Unlike other timeshares, DVC has the flexibility of a point system.
You can book the time of year you travel and type of accommodation, including your resort of choice. With this style of timeshare you are not stuck in a particular week every year. You purchase an allotment of points that you can then choose to spend however you would like.
