You better watch out, you better not pout, because Santa is ready to meet you with his favorite sweet treats in this amazing new spot.
Festival of the Holidays
The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. Festival of the Holidays is an amazing experience where guests can enjoy the beautiful candlelight processional, enjoy delicious holiday food booths, take part in a fun scavenger hunt, cookie stroll, and enjoy great entertainment! There’s brand new merchandise that you can check out HERE.
Also, starting today, guests can ride Guardians of the Galaxy with a new holiday remix! Be sure to grab your boarding group or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane to experience it. Spaceship Earth even has its own light show for the Festival of the Holidays.
Previous Location
Whether you’re looking for traditional American food or just want a cool place to relax, you’ll find that and so much more at the America World Showcase pavilion. Previously, guests met Santa Claus here.
Not only that, but the American Gardens Theater almost always has a performance going. Grab a bite to eat and an American beverage, then take a seat and enjoy the show. I love the tribute to American history here.
Santa Loves Treats
Santa not only loves meeting guests, but as you can imagine, he has quite the sweet tooth. All of these treats look so delicious, and make it extra special when meeting Santa Claus.
Times to Meet Santa
Although Santa’s meeting times run the majority of the day, he also takes scheduled breaks. Probably to sneak some of the goodies sold here! To minimize your time waiting, I recommend getting there 10 minutes or so before the next set begins.
Be sure to use Character Locator to add Santa into your touring strategy!
New Location
One of the downsides to trying to meet the World Showcase storytellers is the weather. Last year, I attempted to meet them all, but it began misting. They all disappeared. While I understand they can’t (and shouldn’t) get wet, I was disappointed.
Santa will meet guests at the Odyssey Pavilion until December 24. This is the indoor location that previously held the EPCOT preview center between the front of the park and World Showcase.
This year, Santa greets guests inside EPCOT’s Odyssey pavilion until December 24.
