Minnie Vans are stylish SUVs that transport Disney World Guests around property. We have some news regarding transfers to and from the Orlando International Airport.
Minnie Vans
How does one get a Minnie Van? Disney partnered with Lyft so you have the option to choose one in the Lyft app. They are desirable due to the fact that they are driven by Cast Members and includes two child seats if needed.
Disney halted its paid rideshare service when the parks reopened in July 2020. These stylish, yet overpriced to many, polka dot vans moved Guests around property and back and forth to the Orlando International Airport.
However, with many of the health and safety protocols essentially nonexistent, many began to wonder when this service may resume. Limited service resumed in the summer of 2022.
What about airport transfers?
One bit of disappointing news with the return of Minnie Vans is that Disney still did not resume transfers back and forth to the Orlando International Airport. With Magical Express gone at the beginning of 2021, Guests have had to rely on rideshare services and companies like Sunshine Flyer and Mears.
However, select Guests CAN now book Minnie Van service to and from the Orlando airport. Guests staying in Club Level rooms at a Disney World hotel can add on service for $199 one-way. Prior to the park closure in 2020, that price was $150. Price increases are nothing new around here and is to be expected.
Club Level Guests can book airport service to and from the Orlando International Airport for $199 one-way.
If you would like to add this service you can book it up to 60 days in advance by calling or emailing Signature Services. At this time, there is no word on airport service for non-Club Level Guests.
