Magic Kingdom is set to open the newest attraction Tron Lightcycle Run on April 4, 2023. Very soon Cast Members will enjoy special Cast Member preview dates for this new attraction.

Disney will also host preview opportunities for guests too, including Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members. We are not-so-patiently waiting for these preview dates.

For the time being, we do have height requirements for this attraction and also a big change with a locker system for loose items. Be sure to check out the full details for these new lockers HERE. There will also be a unique attraction photo that you will not want to miss.

Walt Disney World has now confirmed that there will be no standby queue option for TRON when it opens. There are now only two ways to enjoy this attraction. Be sure to check out these confirmed queue options.

Tron Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster was first introduced to guests at Shanghai Disneyland Resorts. In this thrilling attraction, riders hop aboard motorcycle-style ride vehicles as they speed through the dark ride. It’s even more exciting because it is one of the fastest indoor coasters in the history of Disney’s parks.

Many Kenny the Pirate Crew members have questioned what type of seating will be available on Tron Lightcyle Power Run. The ride vehicles are similar to those at Flight of Passage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Unfortunately, Flight of Passage does not offer an adaptive ride vehicle. Many guests were concerned that Tron may be similar and therefore unavailable for guests due to these unique ride vehicles.

The great news is that there is an adaptive seat available for guests. At the very end of the ride vehicle is an adaptive seat that is a standard coaster seat. This will allow guests who are unable to use the motorcycle-style ride vehicle to still enjoy the attraction.

This is wonderful news for all guests hoping to enjoy this new attraction. Will you be riding Tron Lightcycle Run when it opens? What do you think of the adaptive seating? Do you think this should be in place at Flight of Passage as well? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
