This isn’t the magical ending that anyone was hoping for. Find out what we know regarding this incident.
Incidents at the Theme Parks
No one thinks that an incident or emergency may happen while they are on vacation with family and friends. Unfortunately, there is no real Disney bubble that can protect guests from real-life emergencies and incidents occurring.
We have shared the sad news of guests being injured while on rides at both Disneyland and Icon Park. There have been quite a few emergencies involving fire on attractions, at dining locations, and even after nighttime firework shows.
It is rather an unusual sight to see emergency crews respond at Disney Parks, but we are very thankful for the help that they provide.
Incident at Disney Parking
Last night, a tragic incident took place at the Disneyland parking garage. CBS News Los Angeles shared that a woman was pronounced dead after falling from the Mickey and Friends parking structure on February 18, 2023.
At 6:50 pm, the Anaheim Police Department was called to the scene when the incident was reported. The Mickey and Friends parking garage is seven stories. Unfortunately, this is not the only incident that has occurred at Disneyland parking as a man jumped to his death just this past December.
When the Anaheim Police arrived on the scene, the lady was found lying on the ground. Emergency services responded and took her to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A full investigation is underway to understand the events that lead up to this tragic end.
At this time no information has been released regarding the identity of this lady. A full investigation is underway to understand the events that lead up to this tragic end.
At this time, Disneyland officials have not responded to the incident or provided any additional information. We are praying for this woman’s family and friends as they deal with this tragic death of their loved one.
