Park reservations are still mandatory at Walt Disney World, and today select Guests received park reservations for a park that was previously unavailable.
Park Reservations
Since the phased reopening of the theme parks, park reservations have been required for all four theme parks. Although Disney makes more park passes available at times, it’s a good idea to secure them as soon as you book your vacation. This is especially important during busier times of the year.
Holidays and school breaks increase the number of guests at Disney Parks. Park reservations fill up quickly for these times. Previously, the Disney reservation calendar allowed booking through the end of 2023. This has recently been extended through January 2024. Like it or not, these park reservations are still around for the unforeseeable future.
Park Reservations Now Being Added
Over at Magic Kingdom, special Tron previews are taking place for Cast Members for the month of February. Starting in March, guest previews begin for Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and D23 Members. These select previews affected the Park Reservations for EPCOT in March for many guests.
When Annual Passholder Previews were first available, the Walt Disney Company shared that Park Reservations would be added to each guest’s My Disney Experience app to allow access to the Magic Kingdom for their preview date.
Not only do I have a Park Reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom on my preview date, but now I also have a Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom to enjoy the preview. It appears that these Park Reservations are slowly rolling out for all preview dates so don’t fret if these are still missing.
If you have a Tron preview booked, you will want to keep an eye on your My Disney Experience app to see that your Park Reservation is added.
