Finally, guests can celebrate Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder Celebration at Walt Disney World. You don’t want to miss this.
100 Years of Wonder
During D23’s Expo event, we found out when some of the festivities would kick off. You can read about that HERE. Disney 100 Years of Wonder will be the largest cross-company global celebration in the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company. Disney Parks around the world will celebrate the 100th anniversary, with the heart of the celebration at Disneyland Resort.
At the start of Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder Celebration, Disneyland unveiled beautiful platinum and purple decorations throughout the Park. This included beautiful decorations adorning Sleeping Beauty Castle, celebratory banners, and of course platinum statues of our favorite classic characters.
Now Available at Walt Disney World
At Walt Disney World we are in the final month of the 18-month 50th Anniversary Celebration. 50th Anniversary decorations and banners are still well displayed throughout the parks and resorts. This also includes 50th Anniversary merchandise in the stores as well. We are slowly seeing more 100 Years of Wonder merchandise, including apparel, pins, and stuffed animals, entering the shops.
We are now seeing the 100 Years of Wonder popcorn bucket at Walt Disney World. A similar version was first available at Disneyland, but can now be found at the popcorn cart located near the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT. Keep an eye out at the other parks as well!
This bucket features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n Dale all in their platinum outfits for the 100th celebration. This bucket costs $13 and guests can purchase refills for $2.50 throughout their trip. This version features Cinderella Castle in the background with Walt Disney World at the top.
The new 100 Years of Wonder popcorn bucket can now be found at the popcorn cart located near the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT.
We hope even more 100th Celebration merchandise and decorations will appear as Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary comes to an end.
Will be picking up this popcorn bucket during your next trip to Walt Disney World? Do you hope more decorations and celebrations will begin soon for the 100th Anniversary at Walt Disney World? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
