Are you excited for the return of Disney’s Happily Ever After? Are you ready to love it even more?
Happily Ever After returns
As the D23 Parks panel opened, Jordan Fisher sang a fantastic rendition of “Happily Ever After,” the beloved fireworks spectacular’s theme song. Then, Josh D’Amaro announced Happily Ever After is returning to Walt Disney World in 2023!
Following that announcement, Disney clarified we were not going to be seeing the return of Happily Ever After like we thought. The announcement stated the song “Happily Ever After” will return to Walt Disney World as part of an updated nighttime spectacular.
Disney confirmed the beloved fireworks show will return on April 3, 2023. The show will feature brand new projections down Main Street, U.S.A. You can check out the showtimes for Happily Ever After HERE.
An Updated Nighttime Spectacular
After the announcement, many guests were wondering how the show would look with the updates that Disney announced. During some recent testing, some guests were able to catch a glimpse of the show. No changes appear to have been made in the score and the pyrotechnics have returned!
Last night, Disney held a media event for the upcoming Tron attraction and special preview of Happily Ever After for Cast Members. Disney shared a picture of what the projections will look like down on Main Street U.S.A.
Disney shared that, “If you look closely, the all new Main Street U.S.A. projections for Happily Ever After feature some of your favorite Disney characters.” Just looking at this, we can spot Miguel, Bruno and Mirabel!
It was also confirmed that guests can experience Happily Ever After with MagicBand+.
