This may be one of the strangest reasons to be reprimanded at a Disney Park. Find out why this guest chose to climb over the railings at EPCOT.
Disney Parks Courtesy Reminder
Everyone wants to have the very best day while at Disney Parks. You would think that everyone would be on their very best behavior and simply enjoy the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Over the past couple of years, an increasing number of incidents have taken place which include inappropriate actions, fighting, and arguments at the Disney Parks.
This led to a formal courtesy reminder now added to both the Walt Disney World website and also to the Disneyland website. Guests are encouraged to “Be the magic you want to see in the world.”
Guest Went A Little Too Far
Cast Members have the daunting task to keep the parks magical while also maintaining order and safety for all guests. This can be a bit much, and we can’t help but think at times even Cast Members wonder “What are they thinking?”
Guests can currently enjoy the beautiful International Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT. There is something for everyone at this festival with beautiful topiaries, a peaceful butterfly garden, a fun scavenger hunt, the Garden Rocks concert series, and of course, great outdoor kitchens.
One guest apparently wanted to get a little closer to a couple of these topiaries while at EPCOT this weekend. This guest is seen posing with Miss Piggy. After this photo is taken, she walks over to have a photo taken with Kermit.
Magicalmaddieb shares a video of this incident on TikTok, which you can watch below:
I (Donna) will admit that I am a big fan of the Muppets; however, this is a bit extreme. The Cast Members work so hard to create these living masterpieces, that it is disappointing to see a guest have little regard to follow the rules. We do not know if a Cast Member was notified, but we hope this was an isolated incident.
Guest climbs over the railing to have photos taken with both Miss Piggy and then with Kermit while at EPCOT.
What do you think of this behavior? Have you witnessed a guest with similar behavior in the Parks? Why do you think Disney Parks have so many incidents over the past couple of years? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
