Disney Announces When You Can Stream the New Avatar

We finally know when the new Avatar movie is set to hit digital platforms. The date might surprise you!

It is no wonder that movie fans are anticipating the streaming release date for Avatar: The Way of Water. After all, the film did top 2.2 billion dollars at the box office, breaking a slew of records, and making it one of the top-grossing films of all time. It has surpassed everything except Avengers: Endgame and the original Avatar.

And, on top of all that, Avatar: The Way of Water earned an Oscar at the Academy Awards. It took home the prize for Best Visual Effects, which is unsurprising to anyone who has seen the gorgeous water sequences.

Anticipation for a Streaming Date

The film’s popularity has had movie fans wondering just when Avatar: The Way of Water will drop for streaming. However, the March new Disney+ content announcement came and went with no Avatar announcement.

Avatar: The Way of Water Streaming Release Date

However, Disney has dropped the digital streaming release date for Avatar: The Way of Water. And, fans can expect to enjoy it in their homes soon.

Audiences will see the movie hit digital streaming retailers before the month is out! Avatar: The Way of Water is set to be available for streaming on some paid platforms on March 28, 2023. These platforms include Prime Video, Apple TV, Movies Anywhere, and Vudu. It is said that 3 hours of bonus content will be available as well.

Avatar: The Way of Water will be avaliable for streaming through major digital retailers beginning on March 28, 2023.
