I (Maggie) decided to try the Spicy Chicken Gumbo with Andouille Sausage and rice. Gumbo is one of my favorite things to eat, so I knew I had to try this item at the festival.

The Spicy Chicken Gumbo was definitely full of spice and flavor. It was served warm. I really enjoyed this dish, but if spicy food isn’t your favorite thing, this is definitely one dish to avoid. I would rate it a solid 4 or 5 (out of 5) on the spice scale.

The only thing I wish it had is a bit more of was the rice. The chicken was very good as well and the overall dish was pretty filling. While the beverages are on the more expensive side with prices going up to $12.00, this booth does seem pretty reasonable compared to some other booths.

Have you tried Magnolia Terrace at EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival? Do you think you would try the gumbo or is it too spicy for you? Tell us in the comments below or share this post with a friend.
