Rumor: Great News for Guests Missing Magic Kingdom Attraction Photos

Attraction photos are so much fun and help capture unforgettable expressions at your favorite attractions. Good news is rumored to be coming for guests missing their Magic Kingdom attraction photos.

Guests who purchase Genie+ can get complimentary PhotoPass pictures on rides they have enjoyed! Guests feel this add-on is an even better value! These include attractions like Space Mountain, Slinky Dog Dash, Test Track, and more. You can read more about it HERE.

Guests that purchased Disney Genie+ before March 20th have noted that many of their attraction photos are now available without the watermark. This is a great surprise for these guests. Now even more magic may be coming for guests of the Magic Kingdom.

TRON Attraction Photos

Currently, a “soft opening” is taking place at TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom. The attraction officially opens on April 4th, but many guests enjoy the early opening of this attraction. TRON does offer BOTH a ride photo and a ride video! You can find them in your Photos on My Disney Experience.

Beginning in February 2023, TRON previews were available for select guests. The previews started with Cast Members, then Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and a special D23 event.

For these previews ride photos and videos did not appear in the My Disney Experience app. We have received a glimmer of hope from a member of the PhotoPass Support Team that ride photos and video from TRON previews will be provided complimentary when TRON officially opens on April 4, 2023.

At this time, Disney has not made an official statement, but this is a great glimmer of hope that these first memories on TRON will be available.
